Carmelaram is the area blessed by @MALimbavali and @ArvindLBJP . Trust me, there is not even a single road to reach Carmelaram without mud, dust, potholes and chaos. There are 6-8 paths, but everything is worse than third world. Atleast 0.5km in every path is not even asphalted.
This is Carmelaram Road — a major arterial route connecting Whitefield with South Bengaluru — left in shambles for years due to the stalled ROB work. Ironically, this area also has one of the highest per capita incomes in the country. Are these two things completely unrelated……

Karnataka cleared two Phase 3 Metro corridors in Nov 2022. Centre approved in Aug 2024. State asked for double-decker flyovers, so BMRCL hired a design consultant. No tenders yet; financial closure pending. 3 years lost - cost escalations will hit fares & state budget.
Then let's forget phase 3, it will dragged till 2035 and Sarjapura Hebbal to 2040, Bengaluru needs war mode approvals and constructions work but till now funding only is not secured such a pity.
