7/10 So what does this mean? A personalized mix of exercise therapy and self-management support might help people with multiple chronic conditions feel better—without adding risk.
5/10 📈 The results? People in the program group had a statistically significant improvement in HRQoL of life compared to the usual care group. They also rated their own health more positively. Other outcomes like physical function and mental health were similar across groups.
4/10 Participants were randomly assigned to one of two groups: 🔹 Usual care alone 🔹 Usual care + 12-week program of personalized exercise and support for managing health. The development of the 12-week program can be found here.
