Statues don’t have to be laudatory. Sometimes they can just make us stop and think.
A reader in Philly has flagged another mysterious new monument that has magically appeared in a public park to "honor" Trump. It looks a lot like the ones popping up in DC. Titled "In Honor Of A Lifetime Of Sexual Assault," it features Trump's "grab em by the pu**y" comment.
Was just reading a recipe for rabbit cutlets that included a cup of shredded pineapple. Clearly, if a meat makes people squeamish because it comes from a “pest” animal, a bit of pineapple will help it along. TBF it was 1945 & in the Brisbane Telegraph. Congrats @clemloz
Listen to @clemloz talk to The Drawing Room's Andy Park about her book 'A Matter of Taste: The Australian Women's Weekly and Its Influence on Australian Food Culture'. The book is officially out next week but your local bookseller may already have it 😁 abc.net.au/listen/program…

This guy keeps me on Twitter. Such a brilliant blend of menswear expertise , politics and humour.
Actually, the US government has been involved with clothing in a few ways. The results have been glorious. Let me show you. 🧵

How exciting! Have seen them mouldering on sidetracks for years. Hope they kept the mildew out of the “new” trains.

The details are not yet clear, but this seems like devastating news for talented, amazing colleagues at @UOW. This is the result of years of policy neglect by both major parties, but it's happening on Labor's watch. What's the plan, @JasonClareMP ?!
Devastating, short-sighted and shamefully irresponsible announcement by @UOW management today of 135 proposed sackings, including whole teaching departments such as history. All the while the VC is a partner in a consultancy firm reviewing the university’s operations. @NTEUnion
