A few days ago Angelita has been awarded the Bigelow medal from the @BostonSurgical. First woman surgeon ever to receive the award. First colorectal surgeon. First Latin-American surgeon. Me? I had the absolute privilege to walk this GIANT towards the podium.

How fun it was to meet in person at #RSNA23. Our DFP worked on plans for the next year including publications on HCC, YouTube videos on #LIRADS, and our hands on course at #SAR2024.
