Foreign interference in our media and elections - certainly a cause for grave concern, as @CarolineLucas and others worked hard to highlight #democracy - it would be a good idea
I can offer suggestions - @KateRaworth Ann Pettifor @dhnnjyn @ProfTimJackson New ideas instead more of the old failed ones of #austerity and making the disabled, ill and young pay as the have-yachts coin it theguardian.com/politics/2025/…
It is truly heartbreaking that more than 100 aid agencies are warning today of mass starvation in Gaza. It is also truly infuriating that core humanitarian principles have been systematically ignored for the last 655 days. bbc.co.uk/news/live/c0k7…
Thank you, Dr. Dhananjayan Sriskandarajah for speaking for Gaza. Respect and love.

In the Universal Credit Bill @natalieben made a superb speech explaining how the Bill will make life tougher for thousands of disabled people. She will move a regret motion so that people can see that some of us would stop the Bill if we could. (Money Bills can't be stopped.)

Referencing the important work of @mediareformUK - we don't have a "free press" now, but one concentrated in handful of mostly right-wing hands, but foreign ownership is not going to improve situation
My colleague @natalieben, in the debate on foreign ownership of our press, points out that editors will always worry about what proprietors will think. That is not a free press.
