Buried in amendments to the Interior Dept. Gov funding bill, is a stipulation that the Kennedy Center Opera House must be renamed the 'First Lady Melania Trump Opera House' in order to receive federal funds. The Appropriations Committee adopted that amendment by a vote of 33-25.
If you are a Christian and you are upset by non-believers, you don't: 1. Have faith in your beliefs. 2. Respect the rights of others to believe as they see fit. 3. Or both. Any demand (or support laws that demand) my adherence to your beliefs, infringes on my rights!

For 9 months I've been feeding a neighbor's "outside cat." I built him a heated shelter last winter, trying to keep him warm. He's so loving and appreciates everything. Last evening I finally convinced them to let us adopt him. "Midnight" is home & has no more worries. ❤️

Unfortunately, there's no separating some people's horrible interpretation of Christianity and the most egregious horrors ever to occur on American soil. It's no surprise to me that religion is a critical factor in the mess we've been dealing with now, since 2015.
