Strengthening Conservation Education in Tadoba A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed with the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), Mumbai, to collaboratively implement Conservation Education and Awareness Initiatives in 106 schools across the TATR landscape.

Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Conservation Foundation received a valuable support today as Solar Defence and Aerospace Ltd., Nagpur handed over an excavator-cum-loader under its CSR initiative. Event took place in the presence of J.F. Salve, Akash Wasu & Dr. Prabhu Nath Shukla- FD, TATR.


On 18 July, six Women’s Facilitation Centres in TATR were virtually inaugurated by Shri Ganesh Naik, Hon. Forest Minister, Maharashtra. These centres at Moharli, Kolara, Kolsa, Tadoba, Karwa, and the Core Division Office provide safe, hygienic, & inclusive spaces to women staff.

TATR, in collaboration with Wild-CER (Society for Wildlife Conservation, Education & Research), conducted a two-day orientation program on ‘One Health and Diseases of Wildlife’ on 14th and 15th July 2025. Frontline staff from various ranges actively participated in sessions.



From 7th to 11th July, 260 PRT members and frontline staff at TATR took part in hands-on workshops on precautionary measures, carnivore behaviour, and conflict mitigation schemes. This initiative strengthens ground-level response and community awareness.



TATR today signed a MoU with Marvel for AI-based Human-Wildlife Conflict Mitigation initiatives. The event was graced by Shri Chandrashekhar Bawankule- Hon. Guardian Minister, Nagpur, Shri Ashish Jaiswal- Hon. Minister of State, Srinivas Rao- PCCF (Wildlife), etc

For the 6th consecutive summer, Tadoba has successfully kept forest fires under control! Even with the added risk from dry, flowering bamboo, only 15 minor incidents were recorded. This reflects the careful planning, timely action, and strong on-ground coordination by TATR team

A one-day conflict awareness workshop was conducted at TATR for 40 Primary Response Team members and frontline staff. Key topics covered during this workshop: • Precautionary steps to minimize conflict • Understanding carnivore behavior • TATR's conflict mitigation schemes

A Regional Meet of Field Directors of the Central Indian Landscape was successfully held on July 1–2, 2025, at CHANDRAMA, Chandrapur. Organised by TATR and NTCA, the event brought together senior officials from 19 tiger reserves across Maharashtra, MP, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha.


At the Indian Conservation Conference 2025, Dr. Ravikant S. Khobragade, Wildlife Veterinarian & Head of TATR’s Rapid Rescue Team, presented key insights on Human-Wildlife Conflict Management. He noted that sub-adult female tigers from territorial forests are often in conflicts.

With the arrival of monsoon, core safari gates of Tadoba will remain closed till Oct 1 for tourist safety & ecological rejuvenation. Select buffer gates- Agarzari, Dewada, Junona, Kolara Chauradev, Belara, Alizanza, and Navegaon Buffer will remain open for safaris.

A landmark inter-state summit brought together officials from TATR & Kawal Tiger Reserve, Telangana at Chandrapur Forest Academy yesterday. Chaired by Shri. Ramanujam, CCF Chandrapur, the meet focused on habitat connectivity, conflict mitigation, tech-driven wildlife protection.




At a sustainable menstrual care session under Project Zero-waste Tadoba, we shared sustainable, practical alternatives suited to our frontline women workers. The session included a quiz competition and distribution of Pee Safe menstrual cups and bamboo pads by Suharth Foundation.
