Words matter. Nuance matters. And our ability to criticize shouldn’t be stunted when the target of said criticism is justified.
We have the words to criticize without being offensive - we can crisis Clarence Thomas w/out being racist, Netanyahu w/out being antisemitic, Hamas w/out being Islamophobic, and we can criticize women w/out being misogynistic and so forth. Using words and nuance matter

Los Angeles is on pace for the lowest homicide total in 60 years. LA is responding quickly when crime happens, holding people accountable, and just as importantly, doing the work to prevent crime in a comprehensive way.
