Trump was friends with Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s, but has not been accused of any wrongdoing as part of the investigations into his former friend. @mwendling bbc.com/news/articles/…
We've been trying to make a radio documentary on the Dark Enlightenment off and on for most of a decade... and it seems pretty apt right now. So how influential is it *really*? Producer: @lucyproctor Editor: Richard Fenton-Smith Audio mix: James Beard bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0…
Curtis Yarvin wants a monarch, and apparently some people are listening. “The Dark Enlightenment” on Currently is both fascinating and faintly terrifying. @mwendling asking all the right questions. Well worth your time. @BBCSounds bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0…
This is a skilful, penetrating analysis from @mwendling & @BBCRadio4 on what troubled ‘accelerationist’ philosopher Nick Land popularised as The Dark Enlightenment. There is enough here for a series, as the programme offers a measured, admonitory overview bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00…
Yeah but why Epstein? ... why is the case of a long-dead sex offender the *one thing* that has MAGA worked up? Epstein's very real and horrendous crimes are also connected to a long history which includes things like Pizzagate and QAnon... bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
Tucker Carlson suggests Minnesota assassination is a false flag: “like this is some sort of operation designed to discredit the enemies of the people who designed it?” Maybe he’ll get some of the BlueAnon people on his show next.
Liz Collin is one of the last objective reporters in Minneapolis. She says the political assassinations you’ve read about there probably aren’t what they seem. (0:00) Introduction (0:56) The Truth About the Minnesota Assassinations (9:18) What Do We Know About the Man Charged…
One of my last reports as the BBC's reporter in the Midwest ... the aftermath of a deadly shooting in Minnesota, where people are "nice" and there are no metal detectors at the entrance to the state capital building... bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0…
Oceania is at war with somebody…
Today @NikkiHaley went on @CNBC and called for the US to bomb Iran. Nikki Haley wants more war in the Middle East, which means more dead US soldiers. The only person who has proven that he won’t create more wars is Donald Trump. Donald Trump is the pro peace candidate.…
BBC Verify has analysed dozens of fakes - a lot of them AI generated - related to the Iran-Israel conflict in the last week. We’ve found that the top three fakes have amassed over 100m views across multiple platforms. @Shayan86 @Matt_Murphy15 bbc.com/news/articles/…
So the Ministry of Truth except Winston Smith has been replaced by AI. What could possibly go wrong?
We will use Grok 3.5 (maybe we should call it 4), which has advanced reasoning, to rewrite the entire corpus of human knowledge, adding missing information and deleting errors. Then retrain on that. Far too much garbage in any foundation model trained on uncorrected data.
Extremists are emboldened right now, that's pretty clear. I'm wondering though, are there Dem lawmakers calling this guy - who calls himself antifa - a right-wing MAGA person? There is an imbalance here - not nec in violence but in political propaganda cbsnews.com/news/former-co…
Does this guy traffic in politically motivated conspiracy theories? Just asking questions x.com/bennyjohnson/s…
🚨The suspected Minnesota shooter, appointed by Tim Walz, went from General Manager at 7-Eleven to CEO of an international NGO called “Red Lion Group” in Congo. There’s almost no public info on the NGO, except that it reportedly ran out of funding. USAID funded?
People in Minnesota are united by their shock and grief. But what comes next? bbc.com/news/articles/…
Just spoke with Vance Boelter’s roommate, David who told us he was “very conservative” and “would be offended if people thought he was a Democrat” (as some had assumed) that he was a fan of #InfoWars, that he voted for and was very happy President Trump won the election.
This morning in Brooklyn Park neighbours of Melissa Hortman described to me their shock - and how she got along with her colleagues and neighbours even if they differed on politics. Suspect is still at large. bbc.com/news/articles/…
Here he is again promoting a theory about the Minnesota shooting without any evidence
The far left is murderously violent

Not only has the horse bolted, it's moved out of town, visited multiple countries, and is currently pretty lame and thinking about retiring to a nice meme pasture bbc.com/news/articles/…
This tweet from a Qanon conspiracy account making a vague unsubstantiated claim has been viewed more than many from legit reporters on the scene here in Chicago. If you want to know what’s causing trouble, part of the answer is this:
