I just experienced closest lightning strike ever. It flashed, and less than a second later, huge crack. Thank god I was in my car, but it felt it thru my seat. Pic is few seconds after. I went north of metro to get car away from hail but violent 🌩 ⚡️ ⛈️ still everywhere #mnwx
Two MN Hot Tips (pun intended): 1. Find dense forest trails. You can still be outside and comfortable. The temp difference can be drastic, 15° degrees cooler. 2. Tiny under the shirt belt fan that you clip the hem of your shirt to. Skeptical at first, but this kept me dry 👍👍

When the aurora alerts came in last night, I knew had to try get a pic worthy of Black Sabbath album cover. Ozzy loved cross imagery. So, I went to cemetery. In some cultures, northern lights represent spirit of recently departed. That makes this pic special to me. #OzzyOsburne

The undisputed & forever king of heavy metal said good this afternoon. Ozzy's farewell concert. His last live performance ever 😢😭 So grateful to have seen Ozzy & Black Sabbath live dozen times over last 25 years. This was always the big sing along. I love you @OzzyOsbourne

When the red is this red and you can actually see it (red is harder to see naked eye)... yes, it's otherworldly. BUT I'll take em both. Green looks way cooler when it's moving. Both pics from last year. Red was October 6th and green was from August 12th
