Uganda Presidential Candidate 2021 | @TheAllianceUG | Former Army Commander of the UPDF | Freedom Fighter | Citizen of the great Republic of Uganda
Today, we are pleased to bring you another insightful edition of #AskMugishaMuntu. The conversation will be hosted by Mr. @Kmtaremwa22 and will be broadcast live at 7:00 PM via our official social media channels, as well as those of Maj. Gen. (Rtd) @mugishamuntu & the moderator.
The most painful thing is the breakdown of the spirit of the people. A people reduced to a level where they can sell their fundamental right of choice for UgShs 1000. Such a people have lost their sense of self worth. What is more painful is when it is done to them deliberately.
Don’t associate me with your poverty, Museveni tells Ugandans #NTVNews bit.ly/44uIdHw?utm_me…
There are those who do not care much about the rule of law. They happen to still be in charge. Our effort is to remove them and establish the rule of law. Building a critical number of leaders who are driven by the desire to establish it as we fight to remove them is critical.
Gen ,you're hiding your argument behind the law on this matter! Do we have a rule of law in Uganda???
1."Pride goes before a fall". That is an English saying. 2. The printed word returns to haunt those who tend to liberally throw around words in an unmeasured way. I would advise that you be measured in your utterances. Time can be unforgiving in how it levels people.
Rogers Mulindwa: Uganda’s opposition is in the Intensive Care Unit. There is no hope in this opposition. #NBSUpdates #NBSEagle #UgVotes2026
Happy birthday Ivan. Abundant blessings.
Happy Birthday to Me! I thank the Almighty God for the gift of life & the refreshing blessing of a new year. I do not take His grace for granted. I pray for continued wisdom, strength & divine favor in this new chapter. May this year be filled with growth, impact & fulfillment.
" It is only in Uganda where parties are funded by a government they oppose" That was Fred's' assertion. Is that what you are responding to?.
General, with all due respect, I believe the issue isn’t about lacking research, it’s about how we interpret the structure of government itself. If political parties in Uganda are funded through the national budget, and the national budget is managed by the government, then yes,…
The challenges of our Country seem to be deeper than what they seem to be on the surface. May the Good Lord help this Country.
Join forces with any party or force that aligns with your beliefs & that projects a strategy that resonates with you. Reinforce it with whatever your abilities are & advance through whatever challenges you meet on the way until victory. That is how all victors operate.
General all these fundings are not a point, the point is how can we remove Mr Museveni from power..
Your & my understanding of governance structures & Fred's' interpretation of it that seems to tarry with yours are certainly at variance. Unfortunately I do not have time to delve deeper into the issue. Be comfortable to retain your own interpretation. I will retain mine.

The parties which have members of parliament are required by law to submit audited accounts every year. It is only the NRM that was not doing so for the longest time the last time I checked.
We understand this part how money is spent, but as it’s Public funds, can you publish or do you publish all expenditure break down for public accountability? Unless you also behaving like State house.
Thanks Marvin for the revealing the facts behind party funding. This is the case for all parties in parl. If you may, could you also give a couple of examples in Africa which have the same practice for @FredShaka 's benefit & those who share his view. Perhaps it might help.
Why the National Unity Platform (@NUP_Ug) Receives UGX 3 Billion from Government:
Correction: All parties, the one running government & the ones in opposition who have members in parliament are by law funded by us the tax payers through the budget. Uganda is not the only Country that does that. Do some simple research & enlighten yourself.
It’s only in Uganda where opposition parties are funded by the govt they oppose 😂😂
There is nothing that so frightens the regime than a well coordinated forces of change effort. I suspect they might go into over drive to sow confusion amongst the pro change efforts to cooperate. This might just be the beginning.
Our press conference yesterday was fully public and aired live. No leader from @NUP_Ug uttered the claims being circulated. This state sponsored propaganda should be disregarded with the scorn it warrants.
It is not for me to judge. A tree is known by its fruits. Every one is free to observe individuals exposed to the exercise of power over a period of time & make their own conclusions.
So you are among the 3?😁
When 7 out of 10 get drunk they easily overwhelm the 3 who remain sober.
Mr. @mugishamuntu, you can use arms against this rouge government and come out to be an exceptional leader as you preach. Or are you saying that you are also susceptible to being drunk on power? LOL
We are live, if you can spare some time, please listen in.
Today @mugishamuntu of @TheAllianceUG will be speaking to the nation. If you can spare some time, please don't hesitate to listen in. Thanks.
" Isn't it beautiful when competent people are actually employed to do what they are good at......". Excellent observation Kay. Thank you for bringing it out so beautifully.
Isn't it beautiful when competent people are actually employed to do what they are good at. Look at her; a very competent communicator, fluent in many local dialects...boldly speaking, and effectively communicating.
I am intrigued that you picked that for your commentary & ignored the following sentence. Nevertheless your view is noted. When you get an opportunity apply it.
The words "keenly observe " Sound rather too passive for a kinetic phenomenon like social transformation. It is my view that anybody seeking to lead Uganda should not ask people to observe but rather choose words that inspire them to participate in ways that make better. 😒
