OK, it’s almost the next time Trump is in White House so we should revisit this. Congress can preempt local zoning, of course, but can the President do it with an executive order? Maybe, if limited to sanctuary cities, Trump could use International Emergency Economic Powers Act.

I don't think the vast majority of people who claim to have aphantasia actually have it. It's a failure to understand visualization. "You guys can actually see an apple??" makes me think someone is expecting to literally hallucinate a physical apple in their field of vision
I hate to say it but Trump is right about Fed independence. Sure there’s the constitutional argument (the govt can’t have 4th branch independent agencies when Constitution stops at three branches) but the Federal Reserve Act itself clearly makes the Fed subordinate to Tsy Sec.
