Russia has leaked its “peace memorandum.” In it, Russia demands 5 Ukrainian regions, a ban on NATO membership and peacekeeping force, limits on Ukraine’s troops & lifting of sanctions. If this doesn’t persuade Trump to impose sanctions, nothing will. kyivindependent.com/russia-passes-…
“Veto the law!” — thousands of protesters have gathered in Kyiv to protest the dismantling of anti-corruption institutions. Dismantling anti-corruption institutions is a stab in the back. People are dying for freedom here. An absolutely disgraceful decision by the president.
For the first time in 3-4 years, there may be an anti-government protest today in Kyiv.
⚡️ BREAKING: Ukraine's parliament passes bill destroying independence of key anti-corruption bodies. The bill was passed with the support of 263 lawmakers, while 13 voted against it and 13 abstained. kyivindependent.com/bill-subordina…
Trump doesn’t impose sanctions on Russia, saying the Russians want peace. “They should be in the G8,” he adds. Russia, meanwhile, shows the middle finger, declines Trump’s ceasefire and bombards Kyiv residential neighborhoods. As of now, at least 14 dead. Most likely more.

Military aircraft are legit military targets. This would also not happen if Russia agreed to a ceasefire Trump himself proposed. It still shocks me that he doesn’t get it. It must be horrible being not bright & surrounding yourself with people who are too scared to question you.
Trump says he just spoke with Putin and describes Ukraine's recent drone attack in a way that makes it sound like Russia is a victim
I think Ukraine showed everyone today that it does have all the cards.
Did Trump just openly admit he protects Putin’s Russia while it wages a war of conquest and massacres civilians?

The absolute disgrace taking place today in front of cameras in the WH is yet another reminder that for all the talk of Joe Biden's failures, the people who failed America the most are our citizens. Empowering this guy (again) was a foreseeable disaster we'll be lucky to survive
I didn’t think it was possible to top the Zelensky meeting, but here we are.
RAMAPHOSA: I am sorry I don't have a plane to give you TRUMP: I wish you did. I'd take it. If your country offered the US Air Force a plane, I would take it RAMAPHOSA: Okay
I feel for Zelensky, who had to sit through this as his country is being actively destroyed by the Russians.
European leaders gathered in Albania for a Political Community Summit where in a cheeky opening video clip, the heads of states were portrayed as babies. Read more about the summit here ➡️ reut.rs/45f8vzn
Trump: “If (the Russian tanks) weren’t stuck in the mud, they’d be in Kyiv in 5 hours.” Completely agree — If Russia had a stronger army & better planning and Ukraine had a weaker army & worse planning, Russia would have won. Vice versa applies as well.
If Putin is “tired of this whole thing” he can literally end it any minute.
Trump: "I think Putin is tired of this whole thing ... I had a real rough session with Zelenskyy because I didn't like what he said. And I always said he doesn't have the cards, and he doesn't have the cards."
Judging by the facial expressions, the call went very well.
We just had a phone call with @POTUS while in Albania. Once again, President Putin refuses to respond to the unconditional ceasefire proposal put forward by the Americans and supported by Ukraine and the Europeans. By rejecting the ceasefire and dialogue…
"Today, we must learn the lessons of World War II and apply them with urgency in support of Ukraine’s fight for freedom," writes Latvian Foreign Minister @Braze_Baiba in an op-ed marking the 80th anniversary of Nazi Germany's defeat. kyivindependent.com/russian-regime…
