@mpv603 is saddened to announce the death of Paramedic Shawn Wimmer in an off-duty traffic incident. We are in contact with Shawn’s family & our hearts grieve for them. We ask that you keep them in your thoughts & prayers moving forward. Funeral arrangements are pending.

It’s been one week since our crew was deployed in support of the catastrophic flooding in the Texas Hill Country. They’ve provided cooling, rehab & force protection for the local, state & federal partners who are involved in the search & recovery effort.

Today marks the beginning of EMS Week 2025. A week where we honor the work of our providers who we truly appreciate 52 weeks a year. This year’s theme is “We Care. For Everyone.” We care for all.

Last weekend our EMS Bike Team assisted in providing coverage to the athletes participating in the 2025 @IRONMANtri Texas triathlon in The Woodlands. As usual there were many miles ridden & many laughs to be had. 🚑🚴♂️🏊♀️🏃♂️📷: BC J. Ricasio




Our bike team made their annual trek to @TPWDparks Brazos Bend State Park to provide roving medical coverage for Easter weekend. Bikes and our UTV are a great way to connect with the public and provide education on bike safety & general info on EMS. 🚑🚴♂️📷: BC J. Ricasio

Paramedic Richmond attended a public safety meet & greet at the Granary Flats apartment community. The event gave residents an opportunity to meet first responders, see the apparatus & ask questions about emergency services. We appreciate the opportunity! 🚑📷: J. Richmond



Today we remember our friend, Lauren Smith, who died on this day two years ago. She is missed tremendously. Our thoughts are with Josh & Emma and all of her friends and co-workers. Forever in our hearts.

We’re honored to present an advanced airway management scenario to the Aristoi Classical Academy. Paramedic Drury was also able to speak on careers in EMS as well as mental health resources for First Responders. 🚑 Thank you, Cheyenne, for letting your mom hang out.

MPV6-03 recently attended a touch-a-truck event in the Sienna community. Paramedic Weber said this seemed liked the busiest event he’d ever worked. Thanks for having us out! 🚑
