Devs on here having Claude-induced psychosis thinking the 50/50 bot is actually helping them code faster when in reality it's a flaky, momentum killing, bug producing slot machine whose sole directive is to eat up your time and tokens.
It is done. Took about 1 hour to port and 2 hours to fix random issues. Worst case if I need to go back to Rust in the future it should be manageable. TS to me sparks immediate joy that Rust just was not. I think this should pay dividends in speed and quality of life.
Thinking of dropping my Rust core library for a TS library for a few reasons: 1. I was originally planning on doing something B2C so wanted all native apps. Now that I'm doing B2B, React Native would be acceptable. 2. WASM performance on web seems to be about 2x slower than…

Cmd + Ctrl + Shift + 4 to take a screenshot directly into macOS clipboard. Cmd + V in Cursor. I'm assuming you all knew this but just didn't tell me.

Was going to spend 8-12 months working on @ConquerWork and launch with a 1.0 that could handle companies with 50,000 people. Thankfully the thought hit me yesterday that this was a guaranteed path to failure. Instead I'm going to launch with a v0.1 in hopefully no more than 30…

Having a very good day at the casino today using Opus only. It's doing very good things.
Opus only. Sonnet isn't that good.
In all honestly I’m no longer impressed by one-shots. Show me “Claude methodically and diligently built and maintained core functionality in my established codebase over the course of 90 days.”
Claude just one-shotted this based on that prompt. I work with agents now for a few months, and they still surprise me. Say again that Swift isn't well supported.
❤️🔥 Inflammation: line aware voice-to-code for Cursor and VSCode. My hands have been hurting lately. I tried wisprflow and VS Code Speech but they both sucked at context and per-line coding. Get it free here: marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName… github.com/moughxyz/infla…
I’ve developed this strange, very physical sensation in my hands when I try to code now. It’s the same sensation I feel when working on spreadsheets or things my body just doesn’t want to do. It’s like a combination of heaviness and lankiness. Very hard to describe. At first I…
Software is the best deal on the planet. What else can you buy right now for $70 that could 2-3x your productivity and earnings potential?
I’m so done with privacy man. Had a mishap where during business incorporation I decided to use my mail forwarding service’s physical address instead of mine to sign off on the doc for “privacy” reasons. This has already caused multiple rejections on various platforms who need…
Unreasonably excited about this. Also the Zoho mail app is extremely good. Free custom domain. Their native iOS app is somehow better than Gmail’s and Apple’s.

Bad inflammation today made it hard to type much on the keyboard. Usually this is cause for panic if you’re creating a software company. But actually it lead me to doing softer things, like working on the brand/ philosophy, which is equally important. conquerwork.com

The best form of online privacy is to realize no one gives a shit about you. Especially not your government. Particularly uninteresting to your imaginary surveyor are whatever kinky subreddits you frequent.
Day 2 of being unemployed. I can feel my cash being burned every time the AC comes on. I can probably go 5 years or so without income. But getting to 40 with nothing in the bank sounds depressing. If it does come to that, I would have no regrets. Does anyone ever regret trying?
Last week was my last with Proton and Standard Notes. My eternal gratitude to Proton for being such a cool company to work with. Seriously. They are the real deal. It's the first time I'm single in almost a decade and I'm building something new. It’s a modern rethinking of what…
