i think alot of queer people are "lottery leftists". lucky moralists that have absorbed the right values and opinions without any rigorous effort or self-critic. i think often these people are concerned with enforcement not for any particular outcomes, but for social security
this is what gets me bc so many lives could have been saved, so much pain & suffering could have been avoided. i think about epigenetics, how the trauma that people are experiencing will live on for generations. we talked about it all: the mass graves, the tents being bombed, etc
I am now reading people’s 2 year late thinkpieces about how “maybe student protestors were right” and I cannot help but feel like I am losing my mind. Idek why I’m writing this !! Seeing everyone suddenly do a 180 is so whiplash inducing bc STILL nothing material is being done.
