Today marks #SamaritansAwarenessDay, a perfect time to recognise the incredible work of the @samaritans. Let's all make an effort to reach out to someone who might be feeling lonely. Send a message, a call, or even meet for a cuppa. What matters most is connecting and listening.

Spotted the new signage so I popped into TG Jones in the Village earlier today. It's really good to see all the familiar faces, serving our community.

Starmer says he’s smashing the small boat gangs… So I’ve asked Labour 3 times how many have been prosecuted. They won’t say. What’s Starmer hiding?
A stunning claim from the Treasury’s Family Farm Tax impact assessment. They say it will have “no significant impact” on family life. Have the treasury spoken to a single farmer? It is already causing a huge amount of stress and anxiety amongst our hardworking farming families
Fantastic result #Lionesses 🎉🎉
Come on Girls! 💪🏻 #Lionesses
It was a wet but fun morning in Brownhills last Saturday. It was good to Yoke and the Brownhills Gardening Club. As ever it’s always good to see Lara - Aunty Lanes Rocky Road and the Fairy Family - Fairy Good Cakes. There’s no prize for guessing what we had as a tea time treat

Following a busy morning, Cllr Murphy and I hosted a joint pop-up surgery in #Brownhills! It was great to speak with residents about issues affecting them. It was lovely to speak with Tesco Store Manager John - A huge thank you to you and your incredible staff.

It's always great to grab a good coffee on the High Street after a busy morning in #Brownhills.

#Brownhills Councillor Kerry Murphy and I kickstarted Friday with a visit to meet the Reading Friends Friendship Group in Brownhills Library,. Thank you to everyone in the group for letting us pop in and chat!

Labour turned the sewage crisis into political theatre. But as suspected, it turns out they didn’t have a plan - and they’ve decided to use ours instead. 🧵A thread

It was great to meet with Mr Sanders and Mr Downie just before the summer break to discuss all things sports! Streetly Academy goes above and beyond for students across our Borough, recognising physical Education is essential for everyone, regardless of capability.

New episode of the IAIN DALE ALL TALK podcast 323. Wendy Morton MP I interview Wendy Morton about growing up in a farming family & getting into politics, plusher time as chief whip underLiz Truss - & all the chaos that came with that role! Listen podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/323…
I had a brilliant time at Rushall Primary School just before the summer break! I spoke to pupils about being the MP for Aldridge-Brownhills, and their questions were truly insightful – it seems we have some bright minds and perhaps future politicians in the making.

It was a pleasure to visit Greenfield Primary School in Shelfield and spend time with the wonderful Reception class in their Forest School. I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Gruffalo to such an enthusiastic group of young learners.

It was a real joy to be invited to join Clayhanger Methodist Church celebrate their 140 Years Anniversary recently at a special Sunday service. Thank you for inviting me and for allowing me the honour of cutting one of the special anniversary cakes, alongside Deacon Helen.
