The Kids Online Safety Act is the US equivalent of the EU's Digital Services Act and UK's Online Safety Act. If passed, it will lead to digital identity, total deanonymization of the internet, and massive censorship. It was reintroduced to Congress May 2025.

People are missing the bigger picture in regards to censorship. The UK just set off the powder keg for the next huge wave of censorship and people are still squabbling about which fiction is more righteous to goon to. You won't have anything at all if this keeps up!
i fucking HATE censorship so much oh my god. give them an inch and they will take a mile. if you give them ANYTHING, they will control EVERYTHING. it's slowly happening before our eyes and way too little people care. don't you people want real art???
