there’s something so sinister about a female judge not believing another woman
a woman has to give perfect, consistent details of the most traumatic moment of her life with no room for error and even then it usually still isn’t enough. while men can lie through their teeth and change their story multiple times over and still be believed over the victim.
This being your first thought is beyond fucked up like do you have no sympathy at all in your body
and yet people continually ask why women don’t speak up when they’re assaulted
