These scenes are the government's worst nightmare. After Epping, the last thing they wanted was for protests and clashes to spread across the country. This demonstration was organised informally on Facebook yesterday but has attracted hundreds, including counter-protestors.

I qualified as a teacher in primary schools in 1995. I then taught for ten years before becoming a headteacher for the next 19 years. During the early to mid part of my career, if education professionals had spoken to children about porn, choking, dry humping, and the rest of the…

Who could have possibly seen this coming, apart from everyone? Womp womp.
Reem is right that our pension system is unsustainable because of a shrinking working-age population. But the idea that mass migration is a solution is nonsense - particularly when most migrants aren't net contributors. Here’s why 🧵
If there are 20 million less working age people, who is going to pay for the pension system?

For decades we have been governed by many whose loyalties are not to the British nation but to a vision of global liberalism. Only a Parliament of our best national conservative thinkers can reverse Britain’s decline—but can they be persuaded to stand for election? ✍️ in @ConHome

This is a fair point. There can be a place for schools to help parents fulfil their role of educating children in this area, but schools should be very cautious in what they provide and, as a general rule, should do less rather than more.
If an employer forced their employees to look at sexualised images and pictures of genitalia at work and discuss ‘sexual pleasure’ with colleagues, they could be taken to court. Yet children have no such protection in schools 👇

Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) should be scrapped. In response to this question in Parliament in 2023 (based on a report by Clare Page for the NSCU) Rishi Sunak commissioned a review into RSHE. The review was never published and the Labour government’s new…
I increasingly think this is correct - RHSE cannot be salvaged. There are bits I like (first aid, internet safety) but the harm done to children by other areas outweighs this. Strip back to the core biological facts of puberty, reproduction and contraception and that's it.

Some really bad stuff is happening in sex education in schools. My new piece looks at why the government's new guidance won't fix it. 🧵 First, they have abandoned our proposed age limit on what can be taught to really young children:

Watch @RishiSunak commit to a review of Relationships and Sex Education guidance in response to Miriam Cates' campaign to end the use of inappropriate, extreme and inaccurate material in schools. She calls this a 'catastrophe for childhood' that undermines parents.
Confusing RSHE guidance has been exploited by activists to push an extreme sexual agenda in schools. Yet this Labour Government thinks it’s acceptable for children as young as 7 or 8 to be exposed to sexual content behind their parents’ backs. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…
