I think a better question is.. if we have all these stats and records evaluating the players.. Why does no one evaluate the analysts and scouts out there? Well except me just recently.

I always thought it was a little "sudden" the way Roy Williams, Tony Bennett and even Coach K and Boeheim retired. Now I understand tho.. They saw NIL coming and kenw that the age of being this charismatic figurehead with all the power as a program builder & "developer" is gone.

I’ve watched hundreds of AAU games this summer. I feel like 2 things would help like 90% of offenses at this level: 1. Immediately sprint back out to space after pass on a drive into paint 2. Don’t re-drive a drive into the same gap. Shoot, swing it or at least drive opposite

Think of Emmanuel Mudiay (2015 7th pick). -Seems lost vertical leap since China league Ankle injury. -Compare to before/after china, his jump height/process was way worse and lower. (His SL rim attack height was weird to me. Too low, and seems hesitate to take off powerfully)
I average out 1 year peak EPM (Taken in three 6-month incraments) with 29 year RAPM for every player with at least 3000 career minutes for my stats re-draft/pick value project.. Anyhow, the 6th highest in 2019 draft is Terence Davis... Kings pick up his option? Cuz if not...
Because I've been too nice to Duke guys lately and I gotta have EVERYONE hate me :) PJ Washington, Tyler Herro and Keldon Johnson all have played more career minutes than Zion (and Ja for that matter) All 3 also have a higher career, age adjusted RAPM than RJ Barrett.
