Filmmaker (BEYOND THE CHAMBER OF TERROR). Horror junkie. Ardent physical media collector.
BEYOND THE CHAMBER OF TERROR has gone live on TUBI, AMAZON PRIME, along with more streaming platforms to come! A big thanks to our amazing distributor @Terror_Films for their support. We are honoured to have our bonkers horror comedy a part of the Terror Films family.

Caught the new 4K restoration of the immortal THIS IS SPINAL TAP on the big screen. It looks & sounds better than ever. There was a Rob Reiner intro, bookended by Marty DiBergi presenting an exclusive scene from the highly anticipated sequel. Happy to report that it was hilarious

Joseph Kosinski’s F1 sticks to the winning Bruckheimer playbook (cue the epic, Giorgio Moroder-inspired Hans Zimmer score), resulting in an adrenaline-pumping, undeniable crowd-pleaser. Brad Pitt is in charismatic Steve McQueen mode. F1 is elite blockbuster filmmaking.

THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS is a handsomely crafted, return to form for the MCU. Like Superman, it embraces being a comic book movie & refrains from retelling the origin story. Cast is spot on. Galactus is perfectly realized. Refreshing to have a standalone, distinct MCU film

Ozzy Osbourne’s impact was monumental. He was a true original. A pioneer. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten. RIP Prince of Darkness.

EDDINGTON is Ari Aster at his masterfully provocative best. This grim yet satirical examination of the pandemic's impact on a small community grows increasingly dense & batshit crazy, which will prove divisive. IMO, Eddington is the most riveting cinematic experience of 2025.

SORCERER is my favourite William Friedkin movie. It’s an astonishing filmmaking feat. @Criterion has slain it. The film has never looked/sounded this good on home video. The plentiful special features are excellent. One of the best physical media releases of 2025 thus far.

James Gunn goes bold on SUPERMAN, a charmingly earnest comic book movie, filled with carefree silliness, laughs & a big heart. There’s a lot in its brisk 129 mins but never at the expense of narrative clarity, character & generating stakes. Gunn’s DCU launch is indeed super.

THE PHOENICIAN SCHEME is Wes Anderson’s most enjoyable film since The Grand Budapest Hotel. As per usual, the ensemble is fantastic, led by Benicio Del Toro, who's in peak form here. TPS is not only funny and endlessly charming, but also one of Anderson’s most affecting works.

The haunting new @EibonPress graphic novel THE NEW YORK RIPPER 2 is their most fucked up to date. If you happen to be a fan of Lucio Fulci’s sleazy original film, this not only successfully captures its atmospheric vibe but somehow is even more depraved. Read at your own risk!

The world-building in 28 YEARS LATER is a treat. Despite Boyle’s kinetic visuals & editing, a remarkable sense of geography is consistently maintained. The gleefully WTF climax will no doubt be divisive but only made me more excited to see where things go next. Pure cinema. 2/2

28 YEARS LATER is an exhilarating, bold swing of a movie that takes us on a wild, unpredictable rollercoaster of emotions. Director Danny Boyle & Writer Alex Garland have injected fresh life into the tired, oppressively grim zombie/post-apocalyptic subgenres. 1/2

This handsome Limited Edition Steelbook premieres a brand new doc, Jaws @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story. It’s the third feature-length documentary on the subject and as great as the previous two. Highly recommended! #jaws50

Joel Schumacher’s stylish, atmospheric psychological thriller FLATLINERS manages to still hold up. The 4K restoration is a revelation, the best the film has looked since its theatrical release. @ArrowFilmsVideo has also assembled some informative supplements. A must-own for fans.

Danny & Michael Philippou’s BRING HER BACK is an even more unsettling and devastating examination of grief than their impressive debut, Talk to Me. It packs an absolutely vicious punch, one that haunts you long after the end credits roll.

Whether it’s the crackerjack pairing of Brown & Dennehy, or the clever & fun ways in which our hero, SFX man Rollie Tyler, thwarts the villains, the F/X films remain immensely enjoyable thrillers. This superb @ArrowFilmsVideo box set gives these movies the love they so deserve.

I can’t imagine @GrindhouseFilm ‘s massive 6-disc Deluxe Edition of the Lucio Fulci masterpiece THE BEYOND will be topped this year. Physical media releases don’t get much denser than this. Highest possible recommendation. #PhysicalMedia

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is a mic drop on any movie daring to call itself a blockbuster. The insane, stress-inducing lengths Tom Cruise & Christopher McQuarrie have gone to entertain & awe audiences is a moving & inspiring feat to behold. #MissionImpossible

George Wendt was such a fine, diverse character actor; in particular, his memorable work in Cheers & House will always remain special to me. RIP.
