The two red bilbergias are exploding like fireworks. Both are, as you can see, surrounded by rubbish. But I believe in keeping it real! 🤣 The pink one will be flowering before long. Shame they don’t flower together.

Max on duty at the paddock yesterday evening. Mr Radar.

The small dombeya out the front is getting dressed for the show. She stands only waist high but is busting out all over.

Good morning #GardensHour! Greetings from Dungog. Winter highlights are the carpet of leaves, my small C japonicas out the front R flowering (little Betty Ridley putting on a show); and the fire has still outdoing themselves in the lower garden. I just wish we had longer winter.

Possum o’clock. Mrs Blossom Possum not looking too pleased that someone’s already pilfered the banana…🤔
Good morning #GardensHour! Greetings from Dungog, where autumn colour has finally kicked in, in winter! And my little Luculia is flowering!!

Max enjoying the usual patch of sunshine in the big living room. You can see it’s cold in there from the vapour as he breathes. (This isn’t where we relax: he just likes to come in and enjoy this sunshine while I’m pretending to tidy some things away).

Good morning #GardensHour - greetings from Dungog, where May has been Bat Plant month! This one was brought from Sydney with us 9 yrs ago - the second one, bought at a moving sale, has still-tight buds on it; both flowering for the first time in all those years. 🎉🥰🥳👏
