1 month reflections using AI to get 1M subs on a new yt channel - bought a course and realized my scripts sucked even tho im a savage writer - thumbnail ideation consumes half my waking hours but godamn its worth every second - the progress of AI as a tool for creators is insane

Video editors are the new technical co-founders. I describe my editors the same way tech founders talk about their CTO. "Machine", "Savage", "Monster". You can vibe code software, not viral edits. Your dreams in 2025 now require this person.
whats better than having 0 meetings and just dialing the fuck in on content scripts all day
there's so much opportunity in media right now its fucking insane AI and robotics companies with massive VC warchests trying to stand out Imma get a piece you should too 🤤
LFG my third ever long form video hit nicely channel now at 2K+ subs!

instagram is so hard to monetize, unless you're running some kind of personal brand + info product Kinda wish I hadn't overindexed on that platform over the past 5 years
It's the best time in history to be creating content online. Bc the unfair advantage of big creators is gone. - writing teams - video editing teams - back office staff - graphic designers - sales reps for brand deals AI can already do most of that.
i used to think "every company should become a media company" now i think companies should just focus on building products and advertise with creators building good content very few have the financial will to do it right
Tech founders wanna be like @im_roy_lee but won't put up the bread Roy for sure dropped $50-100k on production for each of those insanely epic videos You're using Opus Clips to cut shorts out of your podcast appearance on a 50 subscriber channel and call it a media strat
if you're good at content, it's such a better use of your time to build your own audience than building one for someone else
I can not wrap my head around the idea that some people actually turn on a vacation responder and don't work for a week or two.
i've spent the past 6 months building a 15m/views a month media brand in an underserved sports niche Using a mix of deep research and chatgpt our video scripts are written almost entirely by AI This was always my bottleneck. I'm mind blown. Might stand up a network of 5-6…
It's wild how the wealthy think My friend rents the guest house of this guy's $15M+ mansion and got a great deal on it I guess in his mind it's covering like 1/3 the monthly salary of his driver? I'm still a little confused tho 🤣
I know a lot of SWE's out of a job right now, some for many months On the other hand, none of my friends good at organic social have ever struggled to find work
