Your moat in SaaS business is specificity. ChatGPT is generic - users want specific. When an average user stares at: "What can I help you with?" empty prompt window, ....they mentally freeze and ignore it. The "chat to" model doesn't work as many think it should. The AI…
DO NOT QUIT your founder's journey. ... but instead answer this question: What are you doing for marketing your SaaS product? > DMing potential users to try? > SEO? > Engaging tech influencers to promote your products (maybe via affiliate)? > building a mailing list around a…
Just use test database you can re-seed. Never give AI access to prod. Ever. The LLM won't safely "read only" unless you restrict it on the actual database. And this part is hilarious as hell:
.@Replit goes rogue during a code freeze and shutdown and deletes our entire database
My complete unhinged take on Andy Byron thing... (I highly suggest you too consider it)
My take on the whole thing: WHO FREAKING CARES!!! Dear anons... Is (***looks up his name***) Andy... that Andy guy ...is he your politician you voted for? No. Is he affecting your individual life? No. Is he passing laws or affecting laws? No. Is he role model for your…

Imho many indie founders think they're building app with complexity of Uber but in reality they're just fetching data from database and showing html. Why overcomplicate things?
Ladies and gents, Those are the companies that shape your startup ecosystem and make major decisions on how EU treats businesses. They don't want "small competition" that can challenge their legacy ways. They want it to be complicated, convoluted and ridden with bureaucracy,…
People think i am making this up This is who got interviewed by them. 85% legacy stuff and their lobby arms
Anyone using @Kimi_Moonshot for coding? How? Would love to try it out. Right now tried it in web chat and pretty impressive.
Correct with nuance. A lot of people would waste 5 hours working on the wrong thing. Knowing what is more important than tooling. Claude Code just cuts time from 5 days to 5 hours.
A lot of people don’t realize they’re 5 hours of Claude Code away from changing their entire financial lives
Hear me out: What if we REPLACE 70% of GOVERNMENT workers with AI & automation... But... we keep their current salaries and benefits. So they pretty much retire early. Same pay. No new hires. Train remaining 30% to utilize technology. This will (almost instantly) make…

Hill I'll die on: Your data is SUPPOSED TO have structure and consistency. If you can't fit it in normalized table - you're databasing wrong. Document-based database is enabler of chaos and poor data hygiene. (for a rare few exceptions it's bad choice).
In so many projects I had more reasons to NOT use mongodb than to use it. And Postgres with jsonb column completely gave me all the reason to not use mongo
