July 26, 2012: Matt Harvey sets a @Mets record for strikeouts in a @MLB debut when he records 11 K’s in a 3-1 win over the @Dbacks. Harvey pitched 5.1 innings, allowing three hits and getting two hits of his own. Tom Seaver and Bill Denehy shared the previous mark with 9 K.
July 26, 2015: Jenrry Mejia pitches a scoreless inning vs @Dodgers. It would be his last @MLB appearance after testing positive for PEDs a second time. Mejia was "banned for life" after a third positive test (2016), but later reinstated (2018) and signed w/@RedSox.
