Pete Alonso's leaping catch to end the game was off a Patrick Bailey batted ball with an exit velocity of 105.9 mph. It had a .730 expected batting average.
Since Pete Alonso came into a game technically as a defensive replacement, he's been a Gold Glove caliber first baseman.
