Double crop beans going in after canola. Got lucky last year, we'll see if our luck will continue. Planting very nice, but it's also very dry here on the outskirts of Blenheim.

White bean plants with fasciation. I’ve never seen that in beans before, found quite a few in this field.


Dry beans may not be as showy as canola, but they’re still pretty. No flowers yet in these white beans on 20” rows.

Such a peaceful day in Temiskaming. Some very nice spring canola and a few fields with high levels of Swede midge damage. Didnt get above 17C so it was quite pleasant. And not a toddler in site, haha.

Who out there has studied Imported Cabbageworm? I have questions. Would they chew on canola pods? I know they usually aren't present in canola at high levels but what if they were?
