TikTok user's review of my latest book The Forgotten Era. maxsiollun.wordpress.com/2025/07/20/tik…
That is an issue that Ademoyega, Ifeajuna, and Nzeogwu all agreed on.
Is there a consensus amongst the January coup plotters about what role they saw Awo playing in a post coup Nigeria if they were successful, or is it one of the topics they were divided/undecided about?
The answer to that is in my next book. 📖 📕
Sir Siollun.. Did Nzeogwu encounter with Awo whilst investigating his treason case influence Him? They were both leftist...
Exactly. However, some deliberately make themselves blind and deaf to evidence, logic, and reason.
Max you and I know that there are plenty of real historical mysteries in Nigeria's history. This is not one of them!
"Awolowo was not in the plans of the Coup plotters.. I have yet to come across firm documents that state it ." Here are a few: Ademoyega (Why We Struck) Nzeogwu (Nigerian Tribune, 7/2/67) Gbulie - Nigeria's 5 Majors Awo's secretary (Guardian, 5/6/07) I can provide more.
Awolowo was not in the plans of the Coup plotters.. I have yet to come across firm documents that state it . This in IMHO became a fable to romanticize the brutality of the first coup . In any case Awo was being held I believe In Calabar at that time.
"None of the coup plotters mentioned Awolowo as part of plan and none of the leaked coup plan papers mentioned him" -except Ademoyega, Nzeogwu, Ifeajuna, Gbulie, Awolowo himself, Awolowo's secretary, and Olutoye.
No plans were made for Awolowo. None of the coup Plotters mentioned him as part of plan and none of the leaked coup plan papers mentioned him.
This tweet did not age well. 🤭
Our girls focused more on social media, which coursed distraction for them. Morocco mean business.
Can someone please explain why pro footballers (who earn a salary) also need a "feeding allowance"? Is this standard in other countries too? What do players do with their salaries? @ColinUdoh @osasuo @oluwashina @oganla
Super Eagles legend, Brown Ideye says they were paid N7000 per day for feeding in 2025 at Enyimba last season. #Bet9jaHomeTurf

Well done to @NGSuper_Falcons and @alozieee for that 94th minute winner in #WAFCON2024. I wonder if the nasty injury to South Africa's Salgado affected their concentration at the end? Wishing Salgado a complete and speedy recovery. cc: @Banyana_Banyana x.com/MakingOfChamps…
Michelle Alozie's long ball sends Nigeria to the final of the women's WAFCON tournament in Morocco, finding the net at the right time to help the Super Falcons beat the defending champions, South Africa. #MissionX is on for Nigeria!!
What was Osinachi Ohale playing at by grabbing an opposition player in the box like that? It was really reckless, gave away a penalty, and ruined Nigeria's record of 0 goals conceded at this #WAFCON2024.
The game got away from the Super Falcons after they gave up that goal. The looked leggy and Banyana could have sneaked a goal if they had better forwards. Magaia changed things for them when they came on. But in the end, the Super Falcons were the better team and deserved the win
🙏🏼
You have picked a solid book. I made so much annotations. I told someone that this book should be compulsory reading for any body that goes through the Nigerian educational system.

I do not think @BrentfordFC will sell Mbeumo for £70K...
£70K package with add-ons is not bad for Mbuemo with his age plus scoring 20 league goals. WORTH IT 🔥🔥
