Incoming Assistant Professor @UMNPsych | Postdoctoral Fellow Harvard University | Studying individual differences in brain and cognitive aging
I am excited to share that I will start as an Assistant Professor in the Clinical Science and Psychopathology Program at the University of Minnesota in Fall 2025!!! @UMNPsych @UMN_CMRR I'll be recruiting graduate students and hiring over the next year!
A paper in @NatureAging describes the Dunedin Pace of Aging Calculated from NeuroImaging measure, an approach that uses a single brain image to measure how fast a person is aging and can help predict mortality or the risk of developing chronic disease. go.nature.com/4kCcpqj
[PREPRINT❗️❗️] Very excited to share our latest work on precision mapping of brain networks exclusively using task data! 🧠 With @max12elliott @jladopoulou Mark Eldaief and @RandyLBuckner biorxiv.org/content/10.110… (1/6)
Now published in @NatureAging ! We introduce DunedinPACNI, a novel measure of the rate of aging derived from brain MRI, and validate it in three large, independent datasets nature.com/articles/s4358…
Age- and Sex-Related Differences in Sleep Patterns and Their Relations to Self-Reported Sleep and Mood biorxiv.org/content/10.110… #sleep #Aging #UKBiobank #MentalHealth
At #CNS2025 and interested in how we can dissociate higher-order cognitive functions within DLPFC at the individual level with precision fMRI? 🧐 Let’s chat at my poster B42 tomorrow from 8 to 10 am! 🧠 Also relevant for anyone doing TMS targeting DLPFC in patients! 🧲⚡️
Really interesting preprint from @max12elliott et al: 1-year brain changes reliably detected by cluster-scanning - burst of multiple, very short T1's. Great potential for tracking individual differences in brain change over clinically meaningful intervals. medrxiv.org/content/10.110…
