It's hard to believe, but 11 years ago, "A Sky Full Of Stars" by @coldplay was our anthem when I drove my daughter to preschool, and now I'm taking her to the #ColdplayBoston show, and she has the lyrics handpainted and pinned to her leather jacket. Time is magic, music is love.

Now spinning, the kids & I see @coldplay tomorrow in Foxboro! Moon Music (2024) by our favorite family band, who my kids have waited literally more than ½ their lives to see in concert & I haven't seen in 20 years...so excited! By the way, my son gave me this LP as a present 💓

Today's run: 3 miles. Soundtrack: Master Of Reality (1971) by @BlackSabbath. Result: It's a bright sunny day, but I've been thinking about the loss of Ozzy Osbourne this week, and this fantastic record is so dank and heavy that it's genuinely beautiful and good for the soul.

Oh man, these two albums were so formative for me in my early teens when I hung out in parking lots, learned to smoke, set off cheap fireworks & engaged in other dubious behavior. Even today as a non-smoking dad & husband, they thrill me & I love them. Miss you, thank you, Ozzy.

Yes, we hit the @coldplay merch stand early at Gillette Stadium. These city-specific shirts are sweet, the kids got the same as #ColdplayBoston posters. Everyone walking around wears the band's gear, and all the restaurants play the band's music. We're in a good place. 🤘😇🤘
