when i say christians are being persecuted this is what i mean
the good news of jesus is that the violence of empire does not have the final word. the love of jesus will prevail!
it’s interesting that conservative christians all of a sudden make themselves out to be supporters of trans people when they want to bomb other countries
i still remember when i was about 9 years old the worship leader at my church praised the war in iraq because it meant that “jesus would come back soon” and i don’t think enough people realize that is the foreign policy of many republicans
i’m starting to think a lot of christians aren’t actually pro life

i wish more people realized that much of the violence in america is because many men are radicalized in conservative evangelical churches
evangelicals in the 1990s: “what would jesus do?” evangelicals in 2025: “is loving your neighbor as yourself toxic?”
if you think empathy is toxic then you’re going to hate this guy named jesus christ
