When people talk about there being "Two Americas" in our country, this @TheBuffaloNews front page is it in a nutshell. I don't begrudge people who are wealthy, but we shouldn't cut SNAP benefits at the same time we are giving tax cuts to those who should pay their fair share.
It was with great sadness I learned of the passing of John Spears, @buffalolibrary's CEO. In his just a few short years, John took a strong library system and made it much better. That will be his legacy. I offer my deepest condolences to his partner Brian and all who knew him.

May's Erie County unemployment rate of 3.1% is the third lowest since Jan. 1990. Also, the 20 lowest monthly unemployment rates have all occurred during my administration, with most since 2022. The facts are clear: our economy is strong and getting better with each passing year.

In May, the Trump Administration issued a report noting a growing mental health crisis among youth. So what did they do? Eliminate a 5 year grant to @UBuffalo to train and place mental health counselors in rural school districts. It's another example of the hypocrisy of them.
