It has been a great sunny summer of science in the lab welcoming @UCD_SBBS undergrad Yoana (CoS STEM summer scholarship), MSc student Shindu (MSc thesis) and Arcadia abroad student Stefan. Mandatory summer lab pic but missing @CianOhlendieck.

It’s coming. It’s closer than you think… 🤣
The first person to sequence a whale at single cell resolution is guaranteed a CNS paper. Then you'd need to sequence a family of whales.

Thank you very much to my @UCD_Conway community for the strong support! A week ago I completed a final count of 156km hiked and near 10k meters of elevation gained in this challenge. My fundraiser to celebrate this event is for @CrohnsColitisFn and remains opened!

Stage 6 of my #TMB leads me to cross the 100km and 7,000mts combined elevation gain lines. It also means views like the ones below. Thank you all friends and colleagues for your donations to the team challenge fundraiser for @CrohnsColitisFn. Still time to be part!

Stage 5 of the #TMB led me to cross from 🇨🇭 to 🇫🇷 at >2,000mts and to the spectacular views of the Mont Blanc massif across the chamonix valley. With close to 90km walked and 5,500mts ascended, it is a blessing to be here.

Humbled to have recently crossed the 2k line in my fundraising. Thank you to all my friends and colleagues, and in particular to my @UCD_Conway community for their strong support! More pics of stages 5 and 6 soon.
For my stage 4 I chose the alternative Fenetre D’Arpette route, making my highest climb of the tour and getting me as close to a glacier as I’ve ever been! Also, humbled to have crossed the 2k line in ny fundraiser! Thank you all for the support. …challenge.crohnscolitisfoundation.org/index.cfm?fuse…

Stage 3 of my TMB took me through a piece of Switzerland 🇨🇭 to complete my first 60km. A very long hike in hot temperatures but not difficult. Thank you som much to all for the donations to my team challenge for @CrohnsColitisFn!

Longest and toughest hike of my journey of #tmb. I have been treated to some views that I have no words to describe. Unfortunately, I can only add a few pics here. Thank you for supporting my team challenge with donations. Still time to contribute: …challenge.crohnscolitisfoundation.org/index.cfm?fuse…
