Waited over an hour. Voted for @realDonaldTrump, @tedcruz and the rest of the Republicans on my ballot. Vesper was a blessing to those stuck in line with us. She mad a lot of new friends.

This man is gone. God Bless Texas!
.@burtrsolomons in @nytimes: I was the GOP chair of the House Redistricting Committee in #txlege. Mid-decade map drawing is "clear partisan manipulation ... that smacks of authoritarian overreach" nytimes.com/2025/07/25/opi… 👀
We are all a little sunburnt but really enjoyed 2 days in Corpus.

It’s hard to fathom Christians opting to vote to keep these death laden facilities open because they don’t like tarrifs and Trump’s personality. Prudence is a virtue.
It was right and good for Christians to make use of the political tools at hand to bring this about. It was a moral and discerning use of votes. Praise God for bringing about an end to these death factories.
Imagine telling the patriots of 1776 that, nearly 250 years later, the government they were about to found would use billions of dollars it took in taxes from its own citizens to flood the country with tens of millions of illegal aliens.
If the taxpayer-funded lobbying bill gets referred to the House state affairs committee—the bill likely die. This is a special session. We need a committee of actual republicans to get it done.
I have prayed for Giovanni and his family for the last several days. He was my first full client at Macias Strateiges. I would encourage you to as well. You have to pray for people who hate you. Pray for those who are your political enemies. Don’t celebrate sin.
These were a very creative idea by @BrettRogersTX. houseofgoodcards.com
Texas politics is not R v. D. or even RINO v. Conservative. Texas politics is Establishment (both R and D) and Reformers. This is an excellent interview and I think it is fair to say that @lukemaciastx represents The Reformers and @gwfulce represents The Establishment.
.@McKenzieDiLullo is a patriot.

I’ll say it again… We need a spiritual revival in Texas & in America. A politician won’t save you, only God can do that. The Church must rise up and be BOLD! The solution to the depravity in our nation is faithful husbands, present fathers, & a strong nuclear family.
Really interesting read.
New: Wesley Hunt is angering his GOP colleagues in Texas, the Senate and Trumpworld. Inside Hunt’s efforts to lay the ground work for a Senate run, from statewide ads to circulating a Cornyn for NASA admin rumor. And the effort by Republicans to stop him notus.org/2026-election/…
The Committee on General Investigating should launch an investigation immediately. He should resign.
Sin is destructive. Sin should drive us all to repentance. The behavior we tolerate becomes to standard we set. God brought this to light and I’m grateful for that. Walk with integrity and know that nothing in politics, and nothing in this world is worth sacrificing it for
Alex Grace, alleges she had a long-term affair with Republican State Representative Giovanni Capriglione (HD 98) beginning approximately in 2004. She said she decided to share her story publicly out of ethical concerns and a sense of personal obligation due to Capriglione’s…
This week I learned that, among Christian conservatives in the Texas House who have fought tirelessly side by side for legislation, there is both a Calvinist caucus and an Arminian caucus. Each caucus contains about who you would think it did. 🙃🤯
A bad day for legacy media.
A previous post shared on this account included a link to this story which was edited to remove an error by The Associated Press that included incorrect information about Texas homestead property exemptions on houses owned by Ken Paxton. dallasnews.com/news/politics/…
A torts professor could teach an entire day of law school off of this post, Matt.
- Patterson recruiting opponents to conservative Republicans. - Dyson attacking his conservative colleague unprovoked The more establishment wing of the GOP seems eager to infight. Let’s instead unite behind a conservative agenda for the special session.
Did you agree with his vote on the Moody Amendment for SB 30?
