Was so unimpressed by New History of the DCU #2 that I forgot I read the preview for it 3 weeks ago. It's better than #1 by virtue of dipping into more modern continuity and having art by Michael Allred, but even then it just makes me want Allred doing the art in full. It's fine.

GODS: ONE WORLD UNDER DOOM #1 is the first time Hickman's new Marvel babies are written by anyone else. Does it work? Kinda! North builds a good dynamic between Mia and Doom but doesn't quite capture Wynn's essence, making him blab and stammer more than he should. Decent read!
This week, two Absolutes but no Ultimates. Next week, two Ultimates but no Absolutes. What's up with that
