Hear hear: Elastic Cloud Serverless is on Lucene 10.0 now for 24 hours, just two weeks after Lucene 10.0 was officially released. What an achievement, and what a team!!!

Speechless, shocked about the death of Luca Salvadori. You had so much more wins in front of you, in life, on track and on road. You'll be sorely missed.

Now that the few post-merge failures are fixed, time to take a minute to celebrate the achievement: Lucene 10 will support decoupling search concurrency from the index's segment geometry. Still work to do, but a great step forward: github.com/apache/lucene/…
