Shenandoah Valley Catholic transplanted to southern Appalachia. Father of 5. Leading my family to Christ. Public land enjoyer.
I remember being 8, fishing a cow pond on a hot summer afternoon. Laid back in the grass, eyes closed waiting on a bite. Falling asleep to the wind through the sycamores shading me, faint call of a rain crow, and Grandad raking hay in the distance. Didn't know how good I had it

Good morning from the foggy foothills of the Misty Mountains

Kentucky is basically the Shire

A few more pictures from my morning run

It is a beautiful morning in my corner of Kentucky. Thank you for letting me share it with you.

Nice to see one of the neighbors out after the storm

The heavens declare the glory of God; the firmament proclaims the works of His hands.

Finished an early 9 mile run just as the sun was coming up. We are incredibly blessed to be able to call this place home.

I remember being 13. Cold opening morning under an oak on North Mountain, sun rising across the Valley. 1st time muzzleloader hunting and hunting the mountain alone. Hawken as big as I was, resting across my lap. Leaves crunch up the ridge. Flash of antler in the brush. Get ready

Good evening for some whiffle ball

If you ever find yourself passing through southeastern Kentucky on I-75 and need some food, Brooklyn Brothers in Corbin is some of the best pizza I have ever had. Right off Exit 25

Nothing like a summer afternoon pop-up thundershower in the south.
