Leanne- Lily-May’s Legacy
@lmvaughan11
I lost my beloved daughter ‘Lily-May’ in February 2023. She was only 17 and was killed tragically in a fatal car crash. Campaigning to reduce future deaths.
I am fundraising for RoadPeace. Check out my @JustGiving page and please donate if you can. Thank you! #JustGiving justgiving.com/page/leanne-va…
Walk 16/20 in memory of Lily-May & to raise funds for @RoadPeace. Did today’s Wrekin walk with Sadie, imagining Lily-May beside us, and what she’d be chatting about at 19 💔 Nature sent robins, butterflies & bees to lift us 🐦🦋🐝 Please donate/share: justgiving.com/page/leanne-va…

The Road Safety Special on BBC Midlands Today was powerful. Here’s a short clip. It’s not easy sharing my story, but the pain of losing Lily-May is far worse. I’ll keep raising awareness so other families don’t face the same heartbreak. Xxx 🙏🏼🦋
Lily-May’s story will be on BBC Midlands Today tonight in a special road safety programme. Grateful to the BBC for highlighting the hidden epidemic of road death. Please watch, support & share. In her memory, we can make a difference. 💛 #RoadSafety #DoForLilyMay

Walk 15/20 of my #WalkTheWrekin challenge in memory of Lily-May done today with lovely Louise from my @RoadPeace family 💜 Sadie loved the breeze & the wind gave us wild hair! 🤣 Please donate if you can – road deaths are sudden & devastating. 🙏🏼 #DoitforLily

After a tough week sharing Lily-May’s story and processing sentencing, we completed Walk 14 of our Wrekin challenge at sunrise 🌅 A peaceful moment, joined by a little robin. @RoadPeace has been a tower of strength—please donate if you can 🦋💗 #ForLilyMay #RoadPeace

A big, heartfelt thank you to @GMB, @susannareid100, and @edballs for giving me a voice to share my tragic story. We must urgently reform our outdated driving laws so that no other family has to endure the pain of losing a child to a road death. Thank you, @1687lucy. #DoItForLily

So privileged to support this incredible lady. Thank you @GMB for covering this important story and taking such care of us.
A huge thank you for all the support today. @1687lucy and I were terrified before going live on @GMB but we found our courage — for Lily-May, Lucy’s brother Peter, and all families bereaved by road crime. Our laws are outdated. Change is coming. Let’s keep pushing. @RoadPeace
