My youngest (7) has 'surprised me' by preparing our breakfast before I got up. Seems I will now taste nothing but washing up liquid for the next 2 days. Possibly I am also foaming washing up liquid bubbles from my mouth. Can't say as it wasn't a surprise, so full marks there.

Was reminded today of that time I thought 'from the get-go' was 'from the gecko', and when I say 'that time' I actually mean considerably longer than a decade of saying 'from the gecko' until I saw it written down and no, I don't want to talk about it.
