A painting of Pylle Church in Somerset a mile or two up the road. This small country church featured in the novel 'A murder of quality' by John le Carré. The author once lived here in Pilton so i guess he must have spotted it then.

A while ago I walked up to Parson Batch at the top of #Pilton to paint the church. In these summer evenings the sun strikes the almost horizontally and it glows.
