Just because you are not special it does not mean you cannot ask special questions.

I don’t understand what is meant when people say we must learn to use AI to stay ahead. Do they mean become a slave to the limited technology being put out, build proper reasoning systems, or generate proper data? Or are they just saying ‘buy my product to keep your job?’.

I have no pictures or words in my head.

I cannot think in words. I need to write them by hand or say them outloud. If I use an LMM my thoughts are trapped & will never appear. That would be a shame for me.

The evolution of biology from chemistry is not explainable without microphysical causation. Crazy that exploring biology from chemistry might need us to rewrite the laws of physics.

It’s funny how physics made causation spooky all because of Einstein, Newton, & a lack of common sense.

AI is showing us that creativity sits in an entirely different category to data retrieval.

Science is about using minimal data to get closer to the truth via an abstraction. GenAI is about massively overfitting a model with vast amounts of data to delude you into the shadow of a truth.

Reality is causal, this is why stochastic gradient descent is insane, expensive, & produces delusions. It removes causation & embeds highly disordered correlations that might represent the training set but often are wrong. You have to massively over fit to get workable systems.

GenAI is a wasteful shortcut to impossible matter with no understanding. It is possible to build knowledge systems that generalise, explore & discover novelty with real data & understanding. Chemistry is a good place to do this. Chemify can discover novel matter that be can made.

Chemputation is universal.

AI is going to cause mass employment & increase living standards.

Humans are not destroying the planet. They are ensuring its survival.
