error statistics doesn't blame for possible future crimes of QRP. All these years they've been giving the justification (for taking account of stopping rules) wrong, calculated to appear silly. errorstatistics.com/2025/04/27/err…

Don't be afraid to read my Statistical Inference as Severe Testing as so many Bayesians are. Maybe they're afraid to be convinced to become error statisticians.
@SciPhiPod and @learnfromerror discuss her new book, as well as the roles of statistics in the philosophy of science, and the social and biological sciences. Click here to listen to the podcast: ow.ly/xgE630nUpUe Check out her book at: ow.ly/jLJ030nUpSN
Not quite a textbook, but I think any statistican/statistician adjacent person should read “ Statistical Inference as Severe Testing: How to Get Beyond the Statistics Wars” by Deborah Mayo (@learnfromerror)
I found this very sweet. I wasn't radicalised by it or anything, but the pacing seemed generally good, and the parts which I spent time on were very readable and quietly compelling.

Guest post from Stephen Senn. All you have to do is see how confused people are about power to understand why they're so mixed up about significance testing. The correct logic is clear and important, but many get it backwards. errorstatistics.com/2025/05/21/ste…
"There's a 'two-way street' between statistical science and philosophy of science." The upshot, in my view, is that artificial intelligence researchers — who are doing applied math, stats, & logic — would benefit from more dialogue with philosophers of science, and vice versa.

There's a new guest post up by Stephen Senn on relevant significance, power, and the misinterpretations in viewing an observed difference that is clinically relevant as evidence for a clinically relevant population effect. errorstatistics.com/2025/05/21/ste…
