I wish it wasn't important to share this. But alas, it is. nytimes.com/2025/04/09/opi…
This great piece is written by a Harvard undergraduate. It tells a clear story about the scale and stupidity of the Administration's war on science. Don't miss it. thecrimson.com/article/2025/4…
Medicaid cuts in Trump's ugly bill are cruel and unwarranted. But they won't suffice to win midterms because they are delayed and wrapped in convincing lies about able-bodied recipients. Tax cuts for the rich are wildly unpopular and cannot be defended. Dems must pounce on them!
Does the press really need help explaining to voters that burdensome new paperwork for health and food benefits either will throw folks off the rolls, in which case it will be cruel and unwarranted, or won't, so it will Ballon the deficit. Can't do both.
Just awful to see this information spread widely. You wouldn't want that, would you?
Mike Johnson would hate for you to know that nearly 40% of his district is on Medicaid. Or that 1.6 million Louisianans — about 35% of the state — rely on it. It would be terrible if this information went viral.
Perhaps now is the time for congressional leaders of both parties to take stock and understand that longstanding practice has allowed too much power to shift to the president when it comes to initiating use of military force. news.northeastern.edu/2025/06/23/i...

Things I want to Know: Where Did Boelter get money? Did he Work with anyone? Does he know others planning attacks? Things I don't trust the Patel-led FBI to find out. See all of the above. Walz should insist that Minn. law enforcement interrogate the suspect.
If anyone has any doubt about where the Trump Administration wants to take us, just watch this. The only question is how many of us from both parties will stand up to stop them.

Let's all speak out against federalizing the National Guard to do jobs for which they are not trained, which are best left to the states and which may demoralize troops who planned to defend Americans not attack them. news.northeastern.edu/2025/06/09/tru…
I am begging everyone with a pulse to look away from the car wreck that is the Trump/Musk "feud" and focus instead on how the House OBBB bill sent to the Senate, cuts $1.3 Trillion from Medicaid and Food Stamps to provide equivalent tax cuts to the wealthy. How can we stop it?
I often hear from friends that our political problems are fueled by the lack of a positive progressive program. Let's prove them wrong by showcasing the steady stream of great ideas from thought leaders with a heart. Here's a set from my friend Pat McCoy ucpress.edu/books/sharing-…
Of course, POTUS event with S. African president was grotesque, appalling and embarrassing for our country. But let's keep our eyes on highlighting the reverse Robin Hood scandal that is the Budget-Busting Belligerent Bill now being bullied through Congress.Nobody voted for this
Yesterday's flouting of the law show the Administration to be unAmerican. Dems must make this point convincingly to sane GOP Congress members and get them to switch parties. A few House switches will change control. Switchers should get 2026 endorsements. Patriots where are you?
Our University's student newspaper was kind enough to interview me about the actions of the Trump Administration. Spreading the word, wherever I can. huntnewsnu.com/85667/editoria…
