this is 100% true, at a certain point u need to start actively thinking about what u want to be improving on and analyzing other artists work or else ur art will be looking the same for years! thats why time practiced < quality of the practice
i cannot emphasize enough how quickly my art improved once i started consciously improving it instead of expecting improvements to just come to me the more i drew stuff
