More on the Epstein problem not going away: Burchett offered a motion—that passed by voice vote—to subpoena Ghislaine Maxwell in Oversight to an appear for a deposition. The House is gridlocked headed into recess, as Rules can’t pass anything out of committee due to Epstein.

Former Biden aide Annie Tomasini left the hearing room just about a half hour after she entered. Tomasini requested a subpoena, earlier this week, for what was set for a transcribed interview. She is the third to plead the fifth in this investigation.
