This year’s final whole school assembly was better than ever, with cups going to Kahlo for attendance, Attenborough for HEART values, Gilbert for ethos, Tull for enrichment. The overall winning House was Kahlo. Congratulations to everyone on a truly successful year.

Students have been busy designing a diverse range of brilliant mascots for our upcoming ‘Community Games Day’, inspired by past Olympic mascots and embodying the HEART and team spirit of Latimer

Last night we took nearly one hundred Year Ten students to see a production of Macbeth by the Stamford Shakespeare Company in the amazing forest theatre at Tolethorpe Hall. The students loved this unique take on their GCSE Shakespeare text and were great ambassadors for Latimer.

Last week was a busy one for the young leaders from years 7-10 supporting Barton Seagrave Primary school’s sports days. 90 young leaders were involved. They were so enthusiastic, organised and represented the school with excellence. You did yourselves and the school proud!

The competition is heating up as much as the weather as our four houses continue to battle it out to win the House Cup for 2024/25!
