♻️ What happens to that plastic bottle when you throw it away? Turns out, in SF, it goes to a Willy Wonka factory. I spent the day at @RecologySF, and was awestruck. Logistics, robots, and artists. In one place. A day in the life of your black, blue, and green bins: 🧵
spent a fun time explaining pg&e electricity rate plans to my dad to identify the most cost effective one for his usage wooo this is so hard for consumers
rest in peace @crazybob thanks for all the things you built, for caring about hiring diverse teams, for being an energetic and warm person

some views to never be seen again the KT in many ways was far from perfect. hard to manage, long, with awkward switchbacks, many mixed traffic segments, and the clogged subway, yet somehow, it worked. today, it’s journey ends. tomorrow, to chinatown, and (eventually) beyond.
AC transit bus stops are so good? look at that covered seating, clear southbound labeling, and digital signage! @SFMTA_Muni can we get more stops like this too please 🙏🏼
