‘everything good will come.’
you claim you want women to be free, but you’re still upholding branches of the c¡sheteropatriarchy/kyriarchy. you’re classist, homophobic, transphobic, lookist (and misogynistic), but you want equality? for who exactly? just you & your girls? as how? make it make sense LMAO 😭
I enjoyed the series but this critique of the series is very valid.
To kill a monkey - Review TKAM will impress those who find the least bit of intrigue enticing, but for viewers who crave logic, depth, and layered storytelling, this series will leave you feeling disappointed. My rating: 4.5/10 Full review below 👇🏽 Have you seen it? Thoughts?
bigotry is so foolish because y’all will gladly shoot yourselves in the foot as long as you get to oppress another group of people 😭 you’re fine with marginalised people burning, even if it means setting yourselves on fire. it’s counterproductive. it’s pathetic. it’s inhumane.
you’re upholding bioessentialism and the gender binary, the very same concepts that misogyny is rooted in, and you claim you want equality and liberation for women? how can you the uphold the same ideas that are used to justify your oppression, yet say you want liberation? HOW??
I think people who say things like “dont over-intellectualize it” or “it’s not that deep” or “you’re making an issue of it” or all the other variations of that complaint are very lazy thinkers. You cannot change my mind.
Can’t find the tweet thst said this but I agree whole heartedly: Reading is invaluable because it’s one of the few activities that forces you to stop, focus & engage intellectually exclusively.
if you’re not intersectional in your activism, you do not hate oppression. you just hate that it’s happening to you.
So what are my friends doing about my situation???
do people think the only 2 options for meeting people are dating apps and cold approaching strangers? what happened to like, having mutual friends
