Maddux Mueller in to pitch for CRP. He sets ICH down in order. Heading to the 5th, ICH leads CRP, 5-2.
CRP gets one back. Collin McClintock was plunked to open the inning. He scored on Michael Day's double to deep left. Reliever Nick Meredith comes in and strands the bases loaded. Made a nice play on a bunt attempt, throwing to 3rd to get the lead runner for 1st out. 5-2 ICH B4
City High erupts with 5 in the third inning. Blaine Heick with a leadoff walk and Paxton Bell drives him in with a triple to RF. Fielder's choice, single and walk loads the bases for Dom Salibi, who drilled a triple inside the RF line. Drew Nye adds an RBI single. ICH 5, CRP 1 T4
City High's Obermueller retires CRP in order in the top of the 3rd. 6-3, F-8, K. He has retired six straight now. After 2 1/2, CRP leads ICH, 1-0.
Jordan Woodhouse retires ICH in order in the second. 6 up, 6 down. C.R. Prairie leads ICH, 1-0.
C.R. Prairie's Shraden Lechtenberg with a leadoff single in the second. City High Starter Drake Obermueller struck out the next two and induced a 4-3 groundout to end the inning. To the bottom of the 2nd, CRP leads, 1-0.
Tait Tierney with a bunt single to lead off the first. Francois is walked and Mueller with a sacrifice bunt. Collin McClintock with a sacrifice fly to score Tierney. Starter Jordan Woodhouse retired City High in order in the first. To the second, C.R. Prairie leads City High, 1-0

East Buchanan goes down in order. Class 1A semifinal result: Saint Ansgar 8, East Buchanan 5. Bucs with a strong run to their first state tournament, reaching the semifinals. They end the season, 18-10. East Buc also graduates just two seniors from the team. Good nucleus back.
